Forecasters for the National Weather Service say a mix of weather hazards are possible.
For today, showers and thunderstorms will continue off an on but this afternoon’s round of storms could be severe with a chance of some damaging winds and hail. Although unlikely, forecasters are not ruling out the possibility of tornado development in the Lakes Region this afternoon into early evening.
While the rain will clear out on Sunday, winds will remain and with a drop in the humidity, there will be an elevated fire weather risk. Outdoor burning is not recommended in the region during the day on Sunday.
