An organization has been formed to help bring aid and comfort to area Veterans.
The Jack Williams Veterans Resource Center, also known as “Camp Jack” is described by Callie Mondy of the Boone County Veterans Association as a one stop place to help Veterans. Mondy talked about the recently formed organization earlier this week on KHOZ’s “Around the Table” program.
Camp Jack, named for Harrison native and WWII Medal of Honor Winner Jack Williams officially launched in October and is currently looking for a facility to house the offices and other services.
