Harrison/Boone County Area to See More Highway Money Due to Passage of Tax

by: Scott McCaulley

One of the measures passed by Arkansas Voters on Tuesday was the extension of the current Road Tax to fund Road Improvements throughout the state.

Harrison Mayor Jerry Jackson visited KHOZ’s “Around the Table” Program prior to the election and talked about the potential of funds coming to the Harrison and Boone County region and how it would help boost the already $10 million of improvements planned for the work on area highways.

The complete interview with Jackson can be seen on the Around the Table Facebook Page.
