Three Vehicle Accident in Highlandville Sends Two Reeds Spring Residents to Hospital

Motorist on Highway 160 in Highlandville work their way around a three-vehicle-crash Tuesday afternoon that sends a pair of Reeds Spring residents to the hospital.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 4:25 when a vehicle driven 31-year-old Beau Pickering was slowing in traffic for a vehicle stopped ahead of it when he was hit from behind and forced into the vehicle ahead of it.

Pickering sustained minor injuries while a passenger in the vehicle, 29-year-old Stephane Pickering, sustained moderate injuries with both being transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment.

The driver of the vehicle that hit Pickering, 17-year-old David Nord of Ozark, was treated at the scene for minor injuries while the driver of the third vehicle was not injured.
