The one incumbent that was challenged for reelection in the City of Harrison Council Races is defeated in his bid to retain his seat.
Ward 1 Position 1 Alderman Chris Head was defeated by challenger Jeremy Ragland 3, 679-1,310 in the Unofficial Results from Tuesday’s Election released by the Boone County Clerk.
The other two contested seats were for positions being vacated by the current office holder. Larry Phillips defeated Dennis King for the Ward 2 Position 2 Seat being vacated by Linda Dewald while Heath Kirkpatrick’s Ward 3 Position 2 Seat will be taken over by Robert Goulet, who defeated James Benefiel for that position.
Meanwhile in other Boone County Races, several other incumbents lost bids for reelection to City Council Seats with only Verna Milam in Valley Springs winning a bid for reelection.
