Voters in Stone County have narrowly passed a Tax Levy increase for the Stone County Health Department.
Unofficial results from the Stone County Clerk’s Office shows that by a count of 9108-8610, voters were in favor raising the operating levy from the current .0785 cents to .10 cents per one hundred dollars of assessed valuation to help the Health Department continue to fund existing and help expand other programs.
Meanwhile, voters in Kimberling City turned down a Ballot Measure to contract with White River Valley Electric Cooperative for Electrical Services within the City for 10 years. Votes were 780 Against, 696 For.
