The continuing work on the Highway 76 Bridge in Cape Fair will prompt two more total closures of the bridge.
The first closure starts at 7:30 this evening and runs through 6:00 am Friday with the second closure scheduled from Saturday November 14th at 6:00 am through the following Monday the 16th at 6 am.
According to a release from the Missouri Department of Transportation, contractor crews will remove and pour new approaches, construct new end bents and expansion joints, and work on the safety barrier of the Route 76 bridge.
Signed detours are in place using Missouri Routes 173, 248, and 413. All business entrances and streets will remain open on either side of the bridge according to the release from MODOT.
This is part of the Missouri Route 76/Table Rock Lake Bridge Project which has been underway for several months and is scheduled to conclude by the end of the year.
