Two People Injured in Traffic Crash Near Reeds Spring

The Missouri State Highway Patrol works a traffic crash in Stone County Monday morning that injures two people from Cape Fair.

The online crash report indicates the accident occurred around 10:40 on Highway 76 five miles west of Reeds Spring when 69-year-old Stephen Caulfield lost control of his vehicle trying to avoid traffic stopped on the highway when the vehicle crossed lanes and hit a vehicle driven by 76-year-old Norma Currie.

Caulfield sustained moderate, Currie minor injuries and were transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
