Add a Lakes Area School that has now had their Football Season ended by COVID-19.

The Hollister School District in a Press Release Thursday afternoon states that due to contact tracing leading to the quarantining of a number of Hollister High School student-athletes, the District announces the need to cancel the scheduled Class 3 District Football Game Friday night at Reeds Spring.

The forfeit of the game means Reeds Spring will advance to the District Semi-finals on November 6th at Cassville.

A number of teams in Missouri including Greenfield and Springfield Parkview have had to cancel the remainder of their games due to COVID-19 concerns while schools like Joplin and Nixa have had opponents forfeit due to the COVID-19 advancing their teams to the next round of the playoffs.

Two Lakes Area Teams will be in action tomorrow night as Branson will travel to Republic in Class 5 and Forsyth will host Willow Springs in Class 2. Branson at Republic will be aired on 106.3 KRZK while Willow Springs at Forsyth will air tomorrow night on MY 100.1 KOMC.
