The Missouri State Highway Patrol works a pair of traffic crashes the result in serious injuries.
The first crash occurs Friday evening just after 8:00 on Holt Woods Road north of Reeds Spring when a SUV driven by 39-year-old Timothy Kelley of Springfield ran off the roadway on a curve striking an embankment and overturning. Kelley was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment of his injuries.
The second crash occurs Saturday afternoon around 2:00 when two vehicles collide on Highway 265 east of Marionville. The MSHP report indicates a vehicle driven by 41-year-old Anthony Murrell of Galena pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by 38-year-old Charles Cummings of Crane. Murrell and a passenger in the other vehicle, 38-year-old Alice Cummings, both sustained serious injuries with patients taken both to Cox South and Mercy Hospitals in Springfield.
