The Renewal of Branson’s Face Covering or Mask Mandate is one of the topics of discussion at tonight’s Branson Board of Alderman Meeting.
The mandate originally went into effect on July 31st and was renewed at a September Board Meeting to help contain the spread of the COVID-19 Virus. The current mandate expires on Wednesday and the ordinance up for First and Second Reading tonight would extend the mandate until a future date not listed on the current ordinance.
Other items up for First Reading this evening include a memorandum of understanding between the Branson Schools and the city for providing four school resource officers and a contract renewal with the Taney County Health Department.
Tonight’s meeting begins at 6:00 at Branson City Hall and will also be streamed on the City’s YouTube Channel. Click link to the City Website for more information is with this story at HTDN.com.
