Diversity and Inclusivity Committee Begins Work

by: Scott McCaulley

The recent Resolution denouncing Racism and promoting Inclusion agreed to between the City of Harrison as well as the Harrison Chamber of Commerce and Boone County Quorum Court included a provision for the formation of a committee to deal with and chart a course of action to move forward on these and other issues.

Jake Grey and Alex Hatch, two members of the newly formed committee, stopped by the Community Partyline Program this week on BOOTZ Country to discuss the early work of the committee. While specific plans are being discussed, Grey and Hatch say much of the early work will focus on young people.

The complete interview with Jake Grey and Alex Hatch can be found on the Community Partyline Facebook Page.
