Forsyth Man to Spend 20 Years in Prison on Child Pornography Charges

A Forsyth Man will spend the next 20 years in prison without parole after pleading guilty to receiving and distributing Child Pornography.

Timothy Wayne Carnelison, Jr., 35, was convicted in 2008 for statutory sodomy and child molestation. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Sex Offender Registry, the victim was five-years-old.

Carneilson pled guilty to the most recent charges in February of 2020.

According to a release to the Branson Globe, investigators began looking into Carnelison after Google initiated a Cyber Tip with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children after locating files of suspected suspected Child Pornography in Caraneilson’s Google Photo Ap.

Investigators confirmed the images on a cell phone when executing a search warrant at Carneilson’s residence in Forsyth.

Carneilson will spend the rest of his life on Supervised Release when he gets out of prison. Carneilson will also have to register as a Sex Offender upon his release.
