by: Scott McCaulley

Friday night’s Backyard Battle between the Reeds Spring Wolves and Hollister Tigers was the closest since the series started but in the end, the Wolves continue their perfect record in the streak.

The Wolves built a 24-6 lead only to see the Tigers score 12 unanswered points and drive late in the game for a potential winning score, only to see the Wolves hold them off for the 24-18 win.

In other action, the Branson Pirates held close for a half, but Class 5 Number One Carthage pulled away in the second half for a 33-10 win while Forsyth losses their second straight game falling to Skyline 46-6.

In Arkansas, the Harrison Goblins had their game with Farmington cancelled due to COVID-19 issues so they instead hosted Ozark, Ark. and come away with a 33-6 win while Berryville drops a 63-8 decision at Shiloh Christian and Green Forest losses at Prairie Grove 52-8.
