The Missouri State High School Activities Association has released District Assignments for Fall Sports.
The Assignment releases were delayed due to many schools dealing with issues related to the COVID-19 Pandemic and some schools not being able to compete during the Fall.
In Football, while all the Lakes Area Schools remain in the same classifications as last season, there are several new looks to the District. Webb City has moved up to Class 5 and joins the District involving Branson, Carthage, Nesoho, Ozark, and Republic. Nixa is out of the District having moved up to Class 6.
While Monett and Nevada have moved out, the other teams in the area Class 3 District remain the same which includes Hollister and Reeds Spring as well as Aurora, Cassville, Mount Vernon, and Seneca.
Forsyth remains in Class 2 with returning teams from last season’s District including Houston, Mtn. View/Liberty, Strafford, and Willow Springs being joined by Fair Grove and Springfield Catholic.
The Football Districts will begin with Week 10 of the season on October 30.
The list of Districts for other Fall Sports can be found on the MSHSAA Website.
