HS Football: Forsyth Finds Opponent to Replace Clever, Other Scheduled Games

by: Scott McCaulley

The Forsyth Panthers will have a Varsity High School Football Game tonight, but against a different opponent than originally scheduled.

The Panthers were scheduled to play at Clever tonight but found out late last week that Clever would have to cancel the game due to COVID-19 issues within the team. Fortunately, Forsyth officials were able to get with Clinton High School in west central Missouri as their scheduled opponent for tonight, Holden, also cancelled due to COVID-19. So the Panthers will head to Clinton tonight for a 7:00 kick-off. Click here for coverage of tonight’s game from Clinton station KDKD. Hometown Daily News Sports will provide live coverage of Forsyth Football beginning next week.

In other games tonight, the Harrison Goblins will take their undefeated record to Siloam Springs for a 7:00 kick-off. Coverage can be heard this evening on 1029 the Z. Also tonight, Branson and Hollister are both at home, the Pirates to Carl Junction (on 106.3 KRZK) and the Tigers to Seneca (on 981 FM/AM 1220 KCAX). The Reeds Spring Wolves are on the road tonight at Mount Vernon with the game to be heard on MY 100.1.

Also tonight, Green Forest will play at Cedarville.
