High School Football Week Two

by: Scott McCaulley

Week One of the High School Football Season saw all the Lakes Area Teams at Home. Week Two flips the script as all teams will be on the road. Meanwhile in Arkansas, a long time High School Football Rivalry will be renewed.

Road games await tonight for Branson (at Ozark), Reeds Spring (at Lamar), Hollister (at Nevada), and Forsyth (at Buffalo). Reeds Spring and Forsyth are coming off season opening wins last week while Branson and Hollister look to rebound after losses.

Meanwhile in Arkansas, longtime rivals Harrison and Mountain Home will meet up with this year’s game at Garrison Stadium in Harrison. The Goblins have dominated the series in recent including getting a big win last year. The Goblins opened their season last week with a close win over Magnolia.

Also in Arkansas, Berryville hits the road for the first time looking to rebound from last week’s opening night loss as they travel to West Fork with one other area team, Green Forest, opening their season tonight at home against Pottsville.
