Julia King Fills Vacant Branson Ward 3 Seat

At a Special Meeting late Tuesday afternoon of the Branson Board of Aldermen, a new member was appointed to fill the vacancy left by Kevin McConnell who moved out of the Ward he represented.

Julia King was appointed by Mayor Edd Akers and was voted in by of the vote of the Board.

King, who currently is a Project Manager for Healthcare Performance Group, will be sworn in at the next Board Meeting on August 25 and will serve the remainder of McConnell’s term in Ward 3 which goes until April of 2021.
