Janet Ellis Signs Off for the Final Time

For the past 26 years, Janet Ellis has been a part of waking up listeners in the Lakes Region with her bright personality and good humor. This morning, Janet did that for the final time.

Janet finished her final “Janet and Friends on Ellis Island” Program this morning remembering many past moments on the show which included 22 years co-hosting the program with Steve Willoughby on the “Steve and Janet in the Morning” program then going on her own after Steve retired from the show in 2016.

Besides the KRZK Morning Show, Janet hosted the MY 100.1 FM KOMC Midday Show for most of her 26 years with the company plus for seven years hosted the Saturday afternoon program on 1029 the Z.

Longtime Ozarks Radio Personality Mike Edwards will host a special two-week edition of the KRZK Morning Show beginning Monday with the new morning show, “The Up-Side” featuring Russ Willoughby and Josh Clark set to debut on August 17.
