The Law that requires Face Coverings or Masks in all Public Spaces in the City of Branson is in effect now through September 8.
The Ordinance setting up the Law which was passed earlier this week by the Branson Board of Alderman, requires everyone over the age of 13 to wear a Face Covering or Mask when in Public Spaces, either Indoors or Outdoors. Businesses open to the public will also be required to post signage reminding customers of the Regulations.
The Law was passed as a way to slow the Spread of COVID-19 in the Branson Area. Taney County has seen a significant jump in COVID-19 Cases in the last several weeks. Branson is the second city in the county to pass a Face Covering Law. The Forsyth Board of Alderman passed a similar Law that went into effect last week.
