A man from Monett is arrested after sustaining serious injuries in an accident on Saturday evening.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol Accident Report indicates the crash happened around 7:45 when 37-year-old Matthew Henson was driving his ATV on Farm Road 1100 and attempted to outrun a train. Henson tried to drive the ATV under the Crossing Gate but the Gate hit Henson ejecting him from the ATV.
Henson was taken to Cox Hospital in Monett for treatment of his injuries. The report goes on to say that Henson was arrested by the Barry County Sheriff’s Department for Driving While Intoxicated.
