One of the people recently diagnosed with contracting the COVID-19 Virus has come forward.
In a Facebook Post on Friday, Carroll County Administrative Assistant Ronda Griffin announces that Judge Sam Barr has been diagnosed with the virus. Griffin says there is no indication on where Judge Barr contracted the virus, but the entire Carroll County Courthouse in Berryville was closed on Friday and deep cleaned though it is believed that the exposure was limited to Judge Barr’s office. Griffin says that Judge Barr has not been hospitalized and is resting at home while Griffin herself announces that she has been quarantined for possible exposure.
The Carroll County Courthouse has been closed to all but visitors by appointments or court dates the last few weeks and that will continue as the Courthouse will reopen for offices holders and appointments on Monday.
