Local Covid-19 Numbers Mount

Covid-19 cases continue to rise in the area.  Stone County reports five new cases, 2 from exposure to a positive case, and 3 others that are considered community spread.

Meanwhile, Taney County’s count is up to 137 total cases, 82 of which are currently active.  The Taney County Health Department is notifying the public of potential community exposures from six COVID-19 positive individuals.  They recommend people wear face coverings in public, maintain social distancing, and stay home if you feel sick.

Locations of potential community exposure from these new cases in Stone County include:

  • Branson West Tequila’s on July 8th – 12:00 p.m. – Not Masked
  • Branson West Walmart on July 7th – 6:20 – Masked
  • Silver Dollar City on July 2nd – 10:00-2:00 – Masked and July 5th – 12:00-3:30 – Masked

Anyone who was at these locations on these dates is at low risk for contracting COVID-19 but should monitor for symptoms. There is no need to self-quarantine or isolate unless symptoms develop.
