COVID-19 Cases Continue to Rise in Lakes Region

As the first full week of July arrives, several more COVID-19 Cases are reported in the Lakes Region according to figures from the State Health Departments of Missouri and Arkansas.

In Missouri, Taney County now sees its total number of cases at 84 with 55 cases active while in Stone County, the number still sits at 20 total cases. The Stone County Number does not include any of the individuals affected by the recent outbreak of COVID-19 at the Kanakuck K-2 Camp Facility in Lampe as none of the people involved are Stone County Residents. The number of current active cases involving Stone County Residents is nine. In Barry County, the number is 72 total cases with 61 cases that are active.

In Arkansas, Carroll County now is up to 187 cases with 69 cases still active, Boone County holds at 29 cases with 14 still active. Some surrounding counties have seen a few more cases over the last week. Marion, Newton, and Searcy Counties are at seven, three, and five active cases respectively.
