Isolated Thunderstorm Causes Wind Damage, Power Outages North of Branson

Isolated Thunderstorms moved through the Lakes Region on Friday and while many areas saw little if any rain, one area of the Lakes Region saw some storm damage.

An area around Rinehart and Shary View Roads including the Savannah Place and the Stephens Estates Sub-Divisions north of Branson were hit by strong winds around 2:15.

Taney County Emergency Management Officials report to the National Weather Service tree limbs around eight inches were down. Several large trees were reported down including one around 24 inches that knocked down Power Lines causing a Power Outage to around 400 homes in the area.
