Taney County Health Department Announces New Cases, Passes Resolution Regarding Mask

Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases in Taney County, the Taney County Health Department (TCHD) will be releasing information regarding public exposures once a day. This information will be available week days daily at 3:00 pm.
Three Taney County residents have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing Taney County’s total case count to 43.
One of the cases is connected to a case outside of the area. Two of the cases are community spread. Close contacts are being notified and will quarantine at home.
A combined itinerary of cases 40 through 43 can be found below:
Sunday, June 21st
9:00 am-1:00 pm and 5:00 pm- 6:00 pm Branson Church of Christ (unmasked)

Monday, June 22nd
8:00 am- 10:00 am Arrowhead Building Supply in Hollister (unmasked)
7:30 pm- 8:30 pm Alexander Park in Branson (unmasked)

Thursday, June 25th
12:00 pm- 1:00 pm Country Mart in Hollister

If you were at any of these locations during this time, please monitor for symptoms. If symptoms do develop, please notify your healthcare provider for further consultation.

In addition, The Taney County Health Department Board unanimously passed a resolution asking residents and visitors to wear face coverings in public places.  Face coverings, in addition to social distancing and staying home while sick, is the best way to avoid the spread of COVID-19.
