A Proclamation “Supporting Unity and Inclusion” Added to Branson Board of Alderman Agenda Tonight UPDATE

The Branson Board of Alderman Meeting tonight includes an item added to the Agenda involving a Proclamation “Supporting Unity and Inclusion” that will take place at the first part of the meeting.

Though no copy of the proclamation was available on the meeting information link on the City of Branson’s Website, the proclamation comes two days after video has gone viral from the “Black Lives Matter” Rally in Branson Sunday which feature shouts from counter protesters. Mayor Edd Akers did issue a statement to Ozarks First yesterday that is feature in another story on Hometown Daily News Dot Com.

Also, on tonight’s Board of Alderman Agenda is the Final Reading of the Bill that will officially approve the expansion of the 76 Community Improvement District.

Tonight’s meeting begins at 6:00 in the City Hall Council Chambers.
