More COVID-19 Cases in Lakes Region Over the Weekend

The number of COVID-19 Cases continues to grow in the Lakes Region:

As reported in a previous story, Taney County reported three more cases of COVID-19 late Saturday growing the total number of cases to 33 with 18 still active. Barry County also had more cases reported as they now have a total of 31 cases with 21 still active.

Stone County is up to 10 cases now with the latest two related to the COVID-19 outbreak at Tequila’s 2 Restaurant in Branson. The investigation into that outbreak continues in a joint effort between the Stone and Taney County Health Departments, which both states that as of now, the outbreak involves only the Tequila’s location in Branson. The Branson West location has not had any COVID-19 cases reported.

Also in Missouri, Ozark County reported its first case of COVID-19 late last week.

In Arkansas, the numbers in Carroll County continue to grow with 69 of the 120 total cases reported still active while to the south, Madison County has just under half of its 146 total cases still active.

Both Boone and Newton Counties picked up one more case over the weekend with Boone now sitting at five active cases of the 11 total reported while Newton has its first active case in several weeks with the county total now up to four. Still no new cases over the last several weeks have been reported in Marion or Searcy Counties.
