The Taney County Health Department released two updates Saturday Evening, including a report of three more COVID-19 Cases making the county total now 33.
According to the release, Case 31 is suspected to be Community Spread while Cases 32 and 33 are linked to prior positive cases. All three individuals are isolating at home.
While the investigation of Case 33 is still in progress, an itinerary of locations for the other two cases has been put together for dates ranging from June 12-17:
Kum and Go, Hollister – June 12, 13, 14, 16, & 17
Big Cedar Lodge, Shuttle – June 14, 16, & 17
Branson Towers – June 13 through June 16
Individuals who visited these locations should monitor for COVID-19 Symptoms and contact a Health Care Professional if symptoms develop.
Meanwhile in another release, TCHD updates its investigation into the COVID-19 outbreak associated with Tequila’s 2 in Branson.
According to the release, known community exposure dates are June 10 through June 16. Currently, multiple known positive cases are associated with the restaurant, with cases spanning three counties. Close contacts of positive cases continue to be notified and quarantined.
This investigation is in progress and more information will be released as it becomes available. As in the previous cases, individuals who were at the restaurant during this time span are ask to monitor for symptoms.
TCHD recommends anyone in the community displaying COVID-19 symptoms to contact their healthcare provider and seek testing. TCHD continues to recommend face coverings, social distancing, and staying home when sick to slow the spread of COVID-19.
