COVID-19 is spread through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes. It spreads between people who are in close contact with one another. The best way to control the spread of COVID-19 is to wear a face covering or mask and practice social distancing, hand hygiene and avoiding crowded areas.
TCHD is also stressing the importance of getting tested if you have symptoms of COVID-19. This can be done through your healthcare provider or using a CoxHealth Virtual Visit, which is free using the code COVID.
