A Lakes Area County that has seen a surge in the numbers of COVID-19 Cases is once again closing its Offices to on-site visits.
In a proclamation issued today, the Carroll County Offices will close at 4:30 today and will remain closed until further notice.
Judge Sam Barr in issuing the Proclamation says that an Emergency exists due to the increasing numbers of COVID-19 in Carroll and surrounding counties and while county officials will be available to conduct county business by phone, e-mail, and online, the offices itself will be closed to onsite visits except by appointment only.
The latest numbers from the Arkansas Department of Health has Carroll County currently with 28 active cases. A total of 56 cases has been reported in Carroll County with one death.
