Reeds Spring Man Avoids Injury in Three Vehicle Crash

A Reeds Spring Man avoids injury in a three vehicle accident south of Spokane on Highway 160 around 10:40 Friday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred as 68-year-old Selma Strailey was stopped on the road to make a left turn. A vehicle behind him driven by 32-year-old Kalie Huff of Nixa slowed suddenly and overtook Strailey’s vehicle sidewipping it. A third vehicle, driven by  45-year-old Beatriz Montejo of Battlefield, then hit Huff’s vehicle from behind.

Strailey was not injured in the accident but both Huff and Montejo were transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment of minor injuries.
