The Missouri Highway Patrol works a pair of accidents Sunday Night in the Lakes Region:
The first accident occurs around 8:10 on Wright Brothers Road south of Hollister in Taney County when a motorcycle driven by 20-year-old Spencer Urbeck of failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the roadway. Urbeck was taken for treatment of his moderate injuries at Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
The other accident happened around 40 minutes later in Stone County on Indian Point Road and also involved motorcycles. 29-year-old Tyrine Starks of Springfield lost control of his motorcycle on a curve and hit a motorcycle driven by 21-year-old Jorge Torres also of Springfield. Starks sustained serious injuries and was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield while Torres escaped with minor injuries that were treated at Cox Medical Center in Branson.
