Four People Injured in Memorial Day Traffic Accident

Four people are injured in a Traffic Accident Monday afternoon on Highway 160 west of Forsyth.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 3:45 when a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Willow Waggoner of Harrison crossed the center line and struck another vehicle.

Waggoner sustained moderate injuries while a passenger in the vehicle, 17-year-old Lucas Lehman also of Harrison, sustained serious injuries. Another passenger, 21-year-old Rainy Waggoner, escaped with only minor injuries while the driver of the other vehicle, 45-year-old Kevin Wheeler of Forsyth, sustained moderate injuries.

All the injuries were transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
