The first round of storms that moved through the Lakes Region Friday caused flooding in many areas.
Several roads were closed during the day and several streets in Branson had water over the road for a time as they strong storms moved through during the late morning and early afternoon hours. Most of the State Roads in the region have been reopened as of Sunday afternoon though Highway C in North Central Barry County remained closed as of Noon on Sunday.
The strong storms also caused some damage in the Arkansas part of the Lakes Region as trees were reported down and power out in Western Grove in Newton County.
Most areas have seen a break in the storms but more scattered showers are in the forecast for today with more general rain in the forecast for the first of the week.
