Flood Warning remains in effect for Taney County including the Branson area as well as Eastern Christian and Western Douglas County to early Sunday morning. A Flood Warning has also been issued for Northern Stone County including areas from Branson West north and Western Christian and Southeastern Greene County.
The Missouri Lakes Region including Taney, Stone, Douglas and Ozark Counties as well as Boone, Marion, Newton, and Searcy Counties in the Arkansas Lakes Region through Sunday morning.
Residents around the Lakes Region need to be alert for potential flooding Saturday.
The National Weather Service this morning issued a Flash Flood Warning for North Central Taney County including the Taneyville Area until 7:45. The Warning also includes Eastern Christian County. Slow moving heavy rain in the Swan Creek Basin area prompted the warning that was issued just before 8:00 this morning then re-issued just before 2:00 this afternoon.
Meanwhile, water is already up in Flat Creek as well as the Finley and James River Basins leading to the continuation of a Flood Warning for Barry and Stone Counties as well as Central Christian County until 4:00 this afternoon.
