While the City Parks in Harrison remain generally open to the public, some facilities are still closed for the time being.
The City announces on a post on their Facebook Page Wednesday that currently playgrounds, dog park, skate park, tennis courts, and basketball courts remain closed.
The post states that Harrison Parks and Recreation officials are consulting with the the Arkansas Department of Health and State Parks association to determine when and how to re-open these facilities.
Also, due to continuing restrictions on team and youth sports activities and programs, the Team Sport Fields in the Park System will remain closed. A decision on reopening those facilities are awaiting a new directive from the Arkansas Department of Health.
