Emergency Personnel are kept busy working a pair of accidents in Stone County.
Around 3:40 Tuesday morning, the Missouri State Highway Patrol works a one vehicle crash on Highway 86 south of Lampe. The accident report indicates that a car driven by 27-year-old Larry Franlin of Pierce City ran off the road into a curve and struck a ditch and a tree. Franlin was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment of his moderate injuries.
Meanwhile the Southern Stone County Fire Protection District reports on their Facebook Page that they worked a single vehicle crash at the Highway 76/376 intersection of the Ozark Mountain High Road around 8:20 Tuesday Evening. Units arriving on the scene found a vehicle on its side. The driver, who was not named in the report, was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated but sustained no injuries. Units were clear of the scene around 8:45.
