Boone County authorities say a Carroll County man, 47-year-old Timothy Milton Brady of Green Forest, was observed sweating and holding his false teeth in his hand following a traffic stop leading to his arrest.
According to the probable cause affidavit, a Newton County deputy advised he was behind Brady’s vehicle traveling north on U.S. Highway 65 crossing into Boone County shortly before 2 a.m. on April 8. The vehicle was reportedly weaving and crossing the centerline numerous times.
Brady pulled his vehicle into the parking lot of a convenience store shortly after being followed by Boone County law enforcement.
Dispatch advised Brady’s license was expired, and he was on active probation with a search waiver on file.
Holding his false teeth in his hand, Brady said the reason his vehicle had crossed the centerline numerous times was due to him being “extremely tired.”
He said his prescription medications made him tired. A search of the vehicle led to prescriptions for the Carroll County man, including three which cause drowsiness. A further search led to a substance field testing positive for methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Brady has been charged with two felony drug-related offenses, as well as misdemeanor counts of careless and prohibited driving, driving while intoxicated and expired driver’s license. His bond was set at $10,000.
