A line of Thunderstorms moving through the Lakes Region late Sunday morning deposited hail in several areas.
The National Weather Service received several reports between 10 and 11 am of 1 to 1 3/4 inch hail in Stone County around Crane and Hurley as well as areas around Kimberling City and Indian Point. Reports of up to 2 inch size hail was reported in Taney County around the Branson-Hollister area with the Protem area in southeast Taney County reporting up to 2 3/4 inch hail.
NWS also received hail reports from Arkansas Counties with large hail reported in Boone County around Omaha and in several areas of Marion County including around 2 inch hail reported in Peel as well as Yellville.
More Severe Thunderstorms are possible in the region this afternoon and this evening.
