Stone County Announces Phase One Reopening Plan

by: Scott McCaulley

The Stone County Commission and Stone County Health Department have announced a Phase 1 Reopening Plan for the county beginning on Monday that coincides with the Missouri State Reopen Order and Guidelines announced earlier this week.

According to a post on the Stone County Health Department Facebook Page Thursday, Stone County’s Economic Recovery Plan will focus on the diversity of the county and its people, businesses, communities, and infrastructure. All businesses as well as places of worship will be allowed to open on Monday following the guidelines laid down by the state.

The release also states that the Health Department will continue to monitor and track the containment, spread, and any resurgence of COVID-19.
