The Governors of Arkansas and Missouri continue to lead their states to different phases of reopening their economies.
In Arkansas, Elective Surgeries are once again allowed, and Governor Asa Hutchinson says he will make an announcement on opening some restaurants on Wednesday. The Governor will announce guidelines on different parts of the economy over the next week with May 4 being the date to have most of the new guidelines in place.
May 4 is also the target date for some parts of the Missouri Economy to re-open. In his Press Conference on Monday, Governor Mike Parson outlined his plan to which many businesses and other groups may re-open, including Houses of Worship. Social Distancing will still be a key component of any reopen plans.
Parson has also said that Local Governments may maintain stricter guidelines if needed. The City of Branson for example, still has a Stay at Home Order and an Essential Business Open Only Ordinance in effect until May 15. The Branson Board of Alderman is expected to consider the future of that order at a meeting in May.
