Missouri has now been added to the list of states that will not have any more classes on school campuses the rest of this Academic Year.
At his daily COVID-19 Press Conference today, Governor Mike Parson orders all Missouri public and charter schools to remain closed through the remainder of the academic year.
In today’s statement, Parson did say that nutrition and childcare services will be allowed to continue operating.
Parson said School Districts should continue with online learning and plan on concluding their School Years on their scheduled dates. Citing his Granddaughter who is a senior in High School, Governor Parson said all will be done to have a Graduation Ceremony at some point later this year.
Earlier this week, Arkansas also announced that they would not have anymore on site classes for the rest of the year.
