by: Scott McCaulley

The COVID-19 Virus has infected two more people in Taney County bringing the total in the county to eight.

In a release from the Taney County Health Department late Monday afternoon, Director Lisa Marshall says one of the cases is related to Domestic Travel.

Marshall does go on to say that officials are noticing a trend of the COVID-19 Virus spreading and reminds people to observe Social Distancing and Gathering Guidelines as well as staying home if sick and continuing constant hand washing.

Marshall also strongly recommends that people take the CDC recommendations to wear masks when in public to help curtail the spread of the virus.
