As Missouri Governor Mike Parson’s Stay at Home Order takes effect on Monday, Harter House is one of several retailers announcing new guidelines for shopping.
The area grocery store announced on it’s Facebook Page Sunday that beginning Monday, the store will establish a one shopper per cart rule to ensure compliance with the store’s 10% Maximum Occupancy per the state guidelines. This rule will apply to both the Harter House Stores in Hollister and Kimberling City.
The stores will also continue their Curbside and Delivery Services.
The complete release from Harter House is listed below:
Beginning April 6th, 2020 Harter House Hollister and Kimberling City will be required to maintain 10% maximum occupancy per the Governors stay at home order. To ensure the continued operation of our stores we will be limiting customers to one person per cart. Please limit your household to one shopper and leave spouses and children at home, or in your vehicle whenever possible. Customers inside the stores will be required to maintain a safe distance of 6ft from other customers. We anticipate that we will be able to continue to keep servicing our community with the help of our customers by following these policies.
We are also continuing to expand our Curbside and Delivery capacity as we get more employees and staff trained to handle the huge increase in volume of orders over the last few weeks. Please remember that our website does not show inventory levels just items we normally stock and there will be many items that are out of stock. We encourage customers to utilize the substitutions field on their orders to indicate when a substitute may be appropriate to help us minimize issues.
Thank you to all our customers for bearing with us during these difficult times, and a special thanks to all my fellow Harter House employees. You guys are doing some amazing work, and without each and every one of you we could not continue to provide for our communities at the level that we have been maintaining through this all!
Stay safe and Healthy everyone!
