by: Scott McCaulley

Graduation Ceremonies at North Arkansas College have been postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 Virus Outbreak.

North Ark President Dr. Randy Esters tells Hometown Daily News that the current plan is to postpone the ceremonies until August. A December Graduation Ceremony date is also possible if the COVID-19 Virus has not subsided by August.

Esters says that online learning is continuing and students who are scheduled to Graduate this semester will get Diplomas and other Documentation and Awards sent to them with the option of returning to for Graduation Ceremonies if they wish.

The college said in a statement earlier this week that the school will assess the situation in July to schedule a date for Graduation.

An interview with Dr. Esters by Lisa Johnson on “The Morning Brew” program on 1029 the Z is loaded on the COVID Podcast Page on Hometown Daily News Dot Com.
