An area county in Arkansas is the latest addition to the list with confirmed cases of the COVID-19 Virus.
Governor Asa Hutchinson announced during his Press Conference today that Newton is one of three Arkansas Counties that reported their first cases of COVID-19 today. Newton joins Boone (1) and Searcy (2) with confirmed cases in the region.
Arkansas’ total number of cases eclipses 500 as a total of 523 cases are reported throughout the state with now eight deaths due to the virus.
In Missouri, Governor Mike Parson says in his daily Press Conference that the total number of Missouri Cases now stand at 1,327 including 14 deaths.
The immediate area totals remain the same with two cases in Taney County as well as one each in Barry and Stone County. The metro Springfield area number of cases include 48 in Greene County with 11 more reported in Christian County.
