Stone County Reports First Positive COVID-19 Case

Add Stone County to the list of Lakes Area Counties that now have a positive test for the COVID-19 Virus.

In a release from the Stone County Health Department late Sunday afternoon, it was announced that the positive test was travel related and that the individual is isolated and quarantined at home. Close contacts of the individual are in the process of being notified and will be quarantined as necessary.

The COVID-19 Positive test continue to increase in the Lakes Region with Barry County also having its first positive test reported late last week and Taney County getting confirmed with its second case over the weekend.

In Arkansas, Boone County continues to report one positive test with two positives being reported in Searcy County while Baxter County had its first positive test reported over the weekend.
