Harrison Closes Playground, Dog Park, Keeps Trail Open

by: Scott McCaulley

Harrison Parks Director Chuck Eddington announces at Thursday’s Harrison City Council Meeting that the Playgrounds and Dog Park in the City will be closed to help contain the spread of the COVID-19 Virus.

Eddington said during the council meeting, conducted as a Facebook Live Event due to COVID-19 safety guidelines, that he had noted the areas getting heavy use which was making keeping proper Social Distancing and Sanitation more difficult.

Eddington did say that the City’s Walking Trail would remain open at the current time but under the guidelines of Social Distancing.
