Springfield Man Injured in Motorcycle Accident in Taney County

A motorcyclist traveling through Taney County sustains serious injuries in an accident Thursday afternoon.

The Missouri Highway Patrol says the accident happened around 2:10 on Highway 125 north of Protem when a motorcycle driven by 63-year-old David Anderson of Springfield ran off the right side of the road, then return the road before overturning and sliding to a rest.

Anderson was taken by private vehicle to Cox Medical Center in Branson for treatment of his injuries.
